Tips on Buying a Canoe or Kayak

Years ago I was involved in the creation and maintenance of a paddling club website. As a result I was often the person who fielded questions and inquires from a wide variety of people who wanted to contact the club. Many times people would contact the club with questions about buying a canoe or kayak. It posed a real problem for me because I didn't feel qualified to give that kind of advice and I needed all sorts of information from the potential buyer in order to point them in the right direction. Eventually I came across a few documents and information that really made things easier for everyone.
